Conveyor belt manufacturer Habasit UK is moving into new premises in the North West.
The West Yorkshire-headquartered company snapped up a unit at Taurus Park, Warrington, on a 10-year lease.
Habasit will relocate its North West operation from its current site in Leigh to the new 4,988 sq ft base.
The industrial team at property advisory firm JLL secured the letting on behalf of the scheme’s owner, LaSalle Investment Management.
Taurus Park, part of the wider Gemini Business Park development, comprises 133,000 sq ft across 13 units on Europa Boulevard.
JLL surveyor Robert Kos said: "Warrington is a popular base for occupiers wanting a location with strong transport links to Liverpool and Manchester, as well as the rest of the country.
"Taurus Park succeeds in attracting this demand through its high-quality space, which sits less than a mile to junctions eight and nine of the M62.”
Existing occupiers at Taurus Park include civil engineering contractor BAM Nuttall, freight company GFS and hydraulics firm KYB.
Following the deal with Habasit, one 7,576 sq ft unit remains on the market.
Robert added: "With only one unit vacant, it shows the healthy demand for industrial space in the North West.”
