Warrington town centre project approved

Date added: 04/05/2016

Planning permission has been granted by Warrington Council for the main elements of the £107m Time Square retail and leisure scheme by Muse Developments.

The cinema, restaurants, council offices and market were all approved by planning committee. Planning approval is already in place for the multi-storey car park and temporary market building.

When completed in 2019 the project will comprise a 13-screen, 2,500 seat cinema, 42,000 sq ft market hall, family restaurants, offices, shops and a public square.

The first element of Time Square started on earlier this year with contractor CPUK. The temporary market building will open in 2017.
