A new Botanist bar is set to open in Knutsford, creating approximately 50 jobs.
New World Trading Company, the bar and pub operator behind the Botanist brand, has announced that the venue will open in early spring following its acquisition of Knutsford Wine Bar on King Street.
The site will serve botanical cocktails, world and local beers and ales, and deli- and rotisserie-inspired food. The Knutsford branch, which will have seating for up to 50 diners, will also host live music performances.
It will be the Botanist's eighth UK site after Manchester, Chester, Alderley Edge, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle and Marlow.
New World Trading Company managing director Chris Hill (pictured) said: "We are incredibly excited to bring another Botanist to Cheshire, we've had astounding success since the brand's inception in Alderley Edge back in 2012.
"Knutsford just felt like the next natural home for the Botanist in Cheshire."
New World Trading Company was created by Living Ventures co-founders Tim Bacon and Jeremy Roberts in 2011.
