Global IT firm Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) is moving into Birchwood Park.
The company signed up for 4,700 sq ft of office space at Chadwick House to serve as a base for its new North West delivery centre.
TCS, part of Indian conglomerate Tata Group, currently provides consulting, IT, technology and digital services for businesses in 46 countries.
The firm said in a statement: "There were a number of factors that made Birchwood Park the right choice to house our new office in the North West, from the connected location and on-site security, to the impressive nuclear presence.
"Energy and utilities is one of the key industries we work across, so the opportunity to be in such close proximity to some of the UK’s leading nuclear services companies was something we couldn’t pass up.”
At Chadwick House, the TCS team will be within walking distance of The Centre, Birchwood Park’s business and leisure destination that features meeting rooms, networking spaces, a restaurant and gym.
TCS continued: "The work/life balance on the park is also something that really stood out when looking around the place.
"This will play a huge role in keeping our staff motivated and happy, and will also be key to attracting new talent to the business.”
Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, which is managed by property firm PATRIZIA UK, commented: "We’ve invested a great deal in road improvements and our transport connections to ensure Birchwood Park remains a competitive destination for business.
"It is really encouraging therefore to hear this played a part in TCS’ decision to move onto the park and continues to prove a real draw for occupiers.”
He added: "We’re pleased to welcome a company of this stature to the park and look forward to seeing TCS become a valued member of our thriving business community.”
