Date added: 21/09/2016

Macclesfield-headquartered care provider Routes Healthcare has secured a substantial investment from a private equity firm to support its growth ambitions.

The backing from Key Capital Partners represents the Leeds-based private equity firm's first investment following the launch of its new £80m growth fund in November 2015.

Routes Healthcare was established in 2005 by current managing director Andrew Healing and provides NHS-funded intensive home care. Over the last 11 years, the business has grown across the North to serve public-sector bodies, blue-chip organisations, small- and medium-sized enterprises, and private individuals.

The branch network of the company covers Blackpool, Macclesfield, Cheadle, Liverpool, Preston, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Bradford, York, Settle, Newcastle and Tameside.
