Schools out spells shredding boom for Cheshire firm

Topwood, the Cheshire-based scanning, shredding and data storage business, is experiencing a surge of sales after about 8.6 million school children left for the summer break. The need for data storage is as its yearly peak as office spaces are cleared out and classrooms vacated for the summer months. According to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), there was a 22% increase in the loss or theft of paperwork in 2017, The ICO suggested that these figures were a result of problems with effective disposal of paper records....
