Roberts bakery earns a better crust

FAMILY-owned Cheshire bakery has hailed a year of progress as sales and operating profits rose. The company, based at Rudheath near Northwich recently opened a 3,000 sq metre new bakery on the site enabling production of 7,000 loaves an hour, was founded in 1887 and has more than 850 staff.
