A string of contract wins worth up to £10m is creating jobs at Washington-headquartered Fastflow Energy Services' (FES) North West office.
Utilities infrastructure specialist FES, which operates out of Warrington and is part of North East-based Fastflow Group, has secured four projects on the National Grid's asset health programme and a further contract as a Tier Two Framework partner on the Grid's capital investment initiative.
It has also secured the Heads of Valley A465 gas pipeline diversion project near Tredegar with Wales and West Utilities on behalf of the Welsh Assembly.
Tony Cottrell, FES managing director, said the contract wins mark a "fantastic end to a very successful financial year" and put the company "in a strong position to exceed the turnover targets" set when it was established in 2012.
"We anticipate that work on the nation's gas and electricity networks will continue to grow over the next few years and we are extremely well placed to secure a significant proportion of this as an approved supplier to the asset owners," he added.
"This will create further job opportunities, not just at our Cheshire offices but in all parts of the country where we secure projects."
