Pochin's wins £10.8m deal to build BAE warehouse

CONSTRUCTION and property specialist Pochin's has been awarded a £10.8m contract to develop a 165,000sq ft warehouse for BAE systems in Lancashire. The facility at Salmesbury which employs more than 4,000 will be amont the first major developments in the Lancashire Enterprise Zone. The project will involve the design and construction of a new build distribution warehouse and an office pod, operated by Wincanton, BAE Systems’ logistics contractor.
