A Runcorn-based metal powder manufacturer, a Chorley-headquartered online bike retailer and a private equity-backed pipeline inspection equipment specialist in Warrington are among nine North West companies to make The Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100.
The nine include six new entrants to the table, which ranks Britain's small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the fastest growing international sales. Their international sales have grown by an average of 52 per cent per year over the last two years to a total of £71m and together they now employ almost 900 staff.
The region's top-ranked company is Runcorn-based metal powder manufacturer LPW Technology in 29th overall with annual international sales growth over two years of 82 per cent.
Next up is Manchester-based food packaging consultancy Equator Design in 34th (73 per cent) and Blackpool-based hangers and accessories retailer Hangerworld in 38th (62 per cent). They are followed by Knutsford-based tray sealing equipment maker Packaging Automation in 47th (57 per cent) and the LDC-backed pipeline inspection system manufacturer Mini-Cam (pictured) in Warrington in 57th (53 per cent).
