National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and celebrates apprenticeships and the positive impact that they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
Since the date was first announced several months ago there has been a lot happening on the apprenticeship front. There has been the Skills Show, the National Apprenticeship Awards, Skills London, the 100 years of apprenticeships event and the announcement of the 2millionth apprenticeship start.
Behind the scenes we have been busy planning this National Apprenticeship Week 2015 themes, preparing information and resources, and talking to ministerial offices about the kinds of things that are going to be happening this year. The 2015 NAW toolkits are now available to download from campaign resources.
To build momentum in the lead up to National Apprenticeship Week 2015, the National Apprenticeship Service is conducting a range of PR activities to demonstrate the many benefits of choosing apprenticeships and to encourage more businesses to employ apprentices.
A social media campaign, 100 Reasons Why, will seek to highlight why employers are increasingly choosing apprenticeships and will run from early January until March 2015. Through infographics, we will create a visual representation for 100 reasons why employers are choosing apprenticeships, with one reason taken from each of this year’s Top 100 Employers.
We will be regularly posting #100ReasonsWhy content on the National Apprenticeship Service social media channels on Twitter, LinkedIn and Flickr. We would be grateful if you could retweet and share this with your networks.
If you have any questions about the #100ReasonsWhy campaign or would like further advice on how you can get involved, please contact us.
