A £28m-turnover Cheshire consultancy which helps clients to improve their business has undergone a management buyout.
Project One Consulting, which is headquartered in Holmes Chapel, specialises in helping organisations to change, thrive and grow.
Ian Latham, David Baggott and Helen Brocklebank from RSM's corporate finance team in the North West advised the management team, including Terry Holland, Paul Clark and Neil Finnie, on the transaction. Lockett Loveday McMahon acted as the team's legal advisers.
The funding for the buyout was provided by NatWest.
After co-founding Project One 18 years ago, Ian Hellens will now retire from the business. Holland will take on the role of managing director with the support of the management team.
Holland said: "We have worked together as a management team for a number of years and we are excited by the opportunity to lead our dedicated, high-impact staff forward to continue our growth and success."
Ian Latham, corporate finance partner at RSM said: "We have worked with Project One and the management team over many years, and have seen the business develop and grow over that time. I am delighted that we have been able to support the management team to make this change as the business looks ahead to its future success."
