Manufacturing is pivotal to the North West economy and the region's manufacturers remain among the most innovative and dynamic in the world. From Manchester to Merseyside, Cheshire to Cumbria, and from East Lancashire to the Fylde Coast, the North West is a hotspot for manufacturing.
Now in their fifth year, Insider's Made in the North West Awards are a celebration of all that's great about manufacturing. They applaud the use of technology, the ambition to export and the motivation to train and invest in people. They are a showcase for the region and its diverse manufacturing industries, ranging from life sciences to artisan food brands.
Once again, the winners of this year's awards will automatically go through to the grand final Made in the UK, where the best of British manufacturing will be celebrated.
We are now inviting entries from manufacturers across the North West. Free to enter, the categories are as follows:
- Manufacturing Apprenticeship / Training Scheme Award
- Advanced Manufacturer / Technology Award
- Manufacturing Innovation Award
- Export Award
- Food & Drink Award
- Green/Sustainable Manufacturer Award
- Medical/Life Science & Healthcare Award
- Automotive Award
- Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m turnover)
- Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m turnover)
The closing date for entries is 15 March.
Made in the North West and Made in the UK will be promoted within the region, across the UK and via digital channels to those with an interest in the North West and specific manufacturing sectors from across the world.
