North Wales transport firm Delivery Solutions (Delsol) is targeting a 20 per cent increase in turnover after investing £250,000 in extending its Deeside depot.
The pallet and parcel specialist has invested in expanding its base to help meet rising demand and accommodate future growth.
It follows £1m of funding secured over the last three years, including a £125,000 loan from Barclays Corporate Banking.
Delsol currently employs more than 100 staff and has a fleet of about 70 vehicles. It operates from sites in Sandycroft on the Flintshire and Cheshire border and Caernarfon in North Wales.
Tony Parry, who founded the business with co-director Simon Walker in 1999, said: "Just two years ago we doubled the size of our Deeside depot to 50,000 sq ft by buying land and buildings adjacent to our Glendale Business Park site.
"Now, we are set to add a further 10,000 sq ft warehouse. The additional space will be used for transhipment to and from our collection and trunk vehicles to accommodate the rising number of pallets despatched from our customer base across North Wales, Chester and the Wirral."
