Councils and economic development agencies representing different parts of the region will be heading down to London this week to promote investment opportunities during the annual MIPIM UK property convention due to be held at the Olympia convention centre.
Delegations led by marketing bureaus, LEPs and local authorities for Salford, Lancashire, Liverpool and Manchester city regions are all due to attend.
Salford City Council will promote emerging neighbourhoods in the city centre around the River Irwell corridor at Chapel Street, Greengate, Middlewood Locks, Wilburn Basin, and New Bailey.
Cheshire and Warrington’s delegation is promoting the development prospects at the Science Corridor Enterprise Zone business parks and the opportunities that HS2 will bring Crewe, along with the Northern Gateway Development Zone around Crewe and Stoke, the resurgence of Chester, particularly Northgate, and the ongoing economic success of Warrington.
