A series of leases have been agreed at Vanguard House, part of science and innovation campus Sci-Tech Daresbury, meaning the enterprise zone scheme is now 80 per cent let.
The companies taking space in the 36,000 sq ft office and laboratory development are automation and engineering consultancy Peak 42; IT services company Urban IT Solutions; medical regulatory writing business Synchrogenix; software developer QSR International; and certified reference material provider Altus Science.
In total, 6,500 sq ft of space has been let.
Two of the companies, Peak 42 and Synchrogenix, have taken space having outgrown their facilities within Sci-Tech Daresbury's Innovation Centre building.
Meanwhile, Urban IT Solutions and Altus Science have expanded their existing space within Vanguard House, and QSR International has relocated to Vanguard House from outside Sci-Tech Daresbury.
John Downes, managing director of Langtree, the private sector partner behind Sci-Tech Daresbury, said: "We'd like to welcome our new tenants to Vanguard House.
"The strategy for this part of the development has always been to provide grown-on space for companies within the Innovation Centre and also to attract new companies from national and international markets.
"There is a vigorous and effective campaign in attracting high-tech companies to Sci-Tech Daresbury and these latest companies join at an exciting time for the wider site. 2015 promises to be an exciting and important year."
