Jiffy invests in new kit

A MULTI-million pound investment programme is underway at Cheshire-based packaging group Jiffy. Parent company Italian group Airpack, which acquired Jiffy from US-based Pregis Corp 14 months ago, has invested in extrusion technology at the Winsford site. The technology will manufacture polyethylene foam in a variety of thicknesses. From thin section foam for interleaving and surface protection, and thicker foams for cushioning and wrapping, to even thicker section foams for impact protection and insulation.
