North West law firm Hillyer McKeown is looking to help the region’s businesses unlock growth with the launch of a management consultancy.
The company’s newest division, HM Business Growth (HMBG), will offer clients a range of business growth services covering strategy, structure, employee engagement, talent, leadership, marketing, finance and mergers and acquisitions.
Hillyer McKeown has chosen managing partner Steve Harvey, business mentor and former CEO Ray Howard, and Nick Mason, who is the director of the firm’s marketing and PR division HM Creative, to lead HMBG.
Commenting on the move, Steve said: "The launch of HM Business Growth is a direct response to clients asking if we are able to provide a suite of non-legal business services.
"We have a lot of talent within the firm with vast experience of running and advising businesses in many different sectors and business owners are now able to tap into their knowledge and skills through HMBG."
Steve further explained that the consultancy is already working with a number of businesses, including a fast growing e-commerce retailer, a construction company and a manufacturer.
He continued: "Projects include helping clients to build strategies for growth, put in place strong management teams, implement employee engagement initiatives and raise finance.
"I want our clients to see us as their business partner, there to support them throughout the lifetime of their businesses. The launch of HMBG is a crucial part of this strategy."
Hillyer McKeown, which has grown its staff count from 65 to 90 over the last 12 months, has offices in Liverpool, Wirral and North Wales in addition to its Chester HQ.
