A Christmas lunch at Wychwood Park Hotel brought the networking year to a close for the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Chief Executive Paul Colman welcomed the attendees drawn from a wide range of sectors including law, accounting, banking, catering, retail and charity.
Throughout 2016 members have attended events keeping them up-to-date on the local and national economy and topical issues such as pension reforms and safeguarding their businesses from cyber-crime.
Mr. Colman said: "South Cheshire has seen positive changes this year with the infrastructure improvements and HS2 announcements.
"This is already is having an effect, with more businesses locating to the area, businesses expanding and the demand for office space increasing.
"The Chamber has lobbied for South Cheshire on a national level through membership of the British Chambers of Commerce and is helping to drive forward more improvement locally through the Chamber Business Council.
"Alongside our partners, we help support the town centre, help young people through the Crewe Pledge and drive the promotion of this area through Destination Crewe.
"There’s never been a better time to be part of our organisation and hope to welcome many more businesses to the Chamber in 2017.”
The Christmas event was an opportunity for members to network and show their festive spirit towards a charity, with collections for the Donna Louise Trust.
