Extended entitlement of free childcare: employer survey

Date added: 14/06/2016

In 2015 the government announced plans to bring forward its proposals to increase free childcare for working parents, from 15 hours to 30 hours per week for some families.

Over the next 12 months, the local authority will be testing out elements of the 30 hour early education programme, to get ready for the programme roll out from September 2017.

The 'extended entitlement' could mean that parents can be more flexible with work start / finish times, could increase their hours and may be able to have childcare over holiday periods.

We would like to hear how the government plans will affect employers and would be grateful if you could complete this short questionnaire. Your answers will help us with our planning.
