A Crewe-based plumbing firm has revealed that turnover has risen from zero to £250,000 in 12 months as it set its sights on achieving further growth in the coming years.
YourRepair Plumbers, set up by managing director Adam Fryer and his partner Sarah Chell, provides services to customers across Cheshire and Staffordshire.
The business currently has three vans and five engineers but further expansion is in the pipeline.
Fryer said: "The difficulty for us can be finding the right engineers because we have a very extensive vetting process. All of our engineers have extensive experience, they have to be Gas Safe-qualified and they must have either four written company references or ten customer references, which we follow up with phone calls."
YourRepair Plumbers attributes the company's rapid growth to strong levels of repeat business. It claims that approximately 85 per cent of its callouts are from repeat customers.
