A care home designed by local Specialist Interior Design & Fit-Out Company, Catalyst, has won a prestigious Pinder’s Healthcare Design Award for the second year in succession.
The Awards promote and recognise the best developments in all types of care-related property, acknowledging the contribution made by home owners, designers and architects to the wellbeing and quality of life for those in their care.
The 2016 award was for the design of Dukeminster Court, a modern 75 bed care home located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Operated by Quantum Care, it features the latest in design and equipment accommodating residents with a wide range of needs including those seeking residential and dementia care.
This award follows 2015’s success when another of Catalyst’s designs – Denby Dale care home – operated by Meridian Healthcare won a Pinders Award.
Catalyst’s Managing Director Mike Davies said "I am incredibly proud of the projects we deliver. The team working out of our office in Ellesmere Port are amongst the best in the world at designing specialist healthcare interiors.”
