We are proud to announce the return of The Dabbers' Den competition for a fifth year. The competition is open to enter between 1st July and the 28th October and gives entrepreneurs with a fantastic new business or business idea the chance to submit their application for this year’s competition.
This exciting competition sees Howard Worth Chartered Accountants and Poole Alcock Solicitors once again join forces with NatWest and Cheshire East Council.
For 2016, as well as the amazing prize for the winner there are also rewards for the top 5 places. The winning business will receive one years free business advice and support from Howard Worth and legal mentoring from Poole Alcock in addition to a £3,000 cash prize. The top 5 places are better than ever which makes this year even more exciting.
With the additional prizes for the 2016 competition, we are happy to confirm that the catchment area for applications are Nantwich, Crewe, Sandbach, Middlewich and Tarporley.
If you have an innovative business idea or own a business that has been operating for less than a year, apply now for your chance to win this coveted prize. The judges will be inviting successful entrants into the Dabbers’ Den in November, where they will be holding panel interviews to determine the worthy winner of the 2016 competition.
The Dabbers’ Den competition has been increasingly successful since it started in 2012, with last year’s winning business Nudgu, going from strength to strength with the support and advice of Howard Worth and Poole Alcock. Nudgu is a business that is designed to assist dementia sufferers to remember vital appointments and when to take medication. The business developed the Nudgu smartphone app which delivers voice messages to a home phone, making them a very worthy winner indeed.
Following the success of last year’s competition we are looking forward to stepping into the Dabbers’ Den for the fifth time. Once again we are hopeful that we can help an innovative new business take its first steps to success, with a very useful cash injection and on-going expert advice.
The competition will be strong once again, so click here to start the application process now.
