The business and assets of Greenway Environmental Services (GES), part of the Greenway Group, have been acquired by Dublin-headquartered One51 for an undisclosed sum.

GES, which works with clients across the manufacturing and construction sectors, is an industrial services provider and tank cleaning business with 30 staff in Crewe. It will be integrated into One51's environmental services division ClearCircle Environmental to further expand its offering in the UK.

One51 said that the acquisition was consistent with its strategy to develop the ClearCircle business across Ireland and the UK.

The Greenway Group, which is also based in Crewe, previously incorporated both GES and hazardous waste management business Greenway Environmental.

Brady Collins, managing director of Greenway Group, told Insider: "Industrial services aren't part of our core strategy.

"We intend to focus on our hazardous waste management business, which is based in Crewe, Liverpool and Hinckley. It's our intention to grow this across the UK."
