Crewe development plot for sale

Date added: 28/01/2016

Legat Owen has been appointed to sell a 13-acre employment site on University Way in Crewe on behalf of private clients, at a guide price of £2.5m.

The site has been allocated for commercial property developments within Cheshire East’s emerging local plan, or for uses associated with the nearby Manchester Metropolitan University’s Crewe campus.

The plot is near to Crewe Railway Station, Crewe Business Park and Orion Park, which has a range of units for distribution and manufacturing occupiers.

Stephen Wade, director of Legat Owen, said: "Quality development opportunities of this nature rarely come to the market in Crewe. The town is thriving on the back a strong local economy. Investment activity has definitely been spurred by the Government’s announcement in November that the northern section of HS2 to Crewe is to be completed by 2027, six years earlier than originally thought.”
