Chester Renaissance seeks Chairperson

Chester Renaissance is seeking a new chairperson to work in partnership with key public and private sector investors to deliver the Chester One City Plan.

The Chair will be responsible for ensuring robust governance is in place and delivering the strategic direction set in the One City Plan. It is likely that the successful candidate will be from the private sector and will have leadership experience at board level within high profile organisations. The successful candidate will possess skills in the development of strong alliances and working relationships with a range of stakeholders both public and private sector.

There is an expectation that the candidate would be available for regular interaction and discussions with the board members as well as the Programme Manager for no less than two days per month. A fee of £10,000 per annum is payable.
