Local celebrities are backing Perfect Chester, a new tourism campaign launching this week by Marketing Cheshire designed to increase awareness and encourage visitors to Chester, in celebration of the way the city and its environs are sometimes perceived by the rest of the UK.
Set to launch on social media on Thursday 30th June between 12-3pm, BBC news presenter Louise Minchin was the first celebrity to get involved, sharing a #perfectchester moment. Gymnast Beth Tweddle will be amongst other local celebrities showing their support over the coming weeks, by sharing a #perfectchester moment. Marketing Cheshire is urging everyone to get involved in publishing the campaign through their own channels to help get Chester trending by capturing and relaying their own perfect Chester experiences.
#perfectchester will capture and share moments and stories from Chester’s eight million plus annual visitors, as well as advertising in domestic markets through print, billboards and digital advertising to inspire tourists to visit the city.
