Accountancy and payroll company ADVANCE has achieved double-digit revenue growth.
The Chester-based company, which provides its services for freelancers, contractors and temporary workers, turned over £64.6m in the 12 months to March 31 2017.
The record revenue, up 13% against the £57.1m reported last year, represents ADVANCE’s seventh consecutive year of growth since it was established in 2010.
Shaun Critchley, the firm’s managing director, commented: "These results were achieved in a year that was sandwiched by two major legislation changes affecting contractors and the recruitment agencies that find them work.
"The fact that we continued to grow shows our ability as a business to adapt and thrive in a sector where the only constant seems to be change.”
He continued: "Since March we have performed even better as a business, thanks in part to a heightened focus amongst recruitment agencies on compliance as a factor in choosing their supply chain partners.
"A key focus for us between now and March 2018 will be ensuring we are GDPR-compliant ahead of schedule, whilst continuing to provide contractors and recruiters with world-class service.
ADVANCE currently employs nearly 40 people at offices on the outskirts of Chester.
