Chess moves to buy Lancashire ICT rival

CHESHIRE-based ICT services company Chess has acquired Burnley rival Lanway, which has a turnover of nearly £22m. The deal follows hard on the heels of the Alderley Edge firm’s purchase of Pinnacle CDT – with offices in Glasgow and Stockton-on-Tees - for £2.8m two weeks ago.
