An
important survey about the needs of local businesses is being undertaken across
Cheshire in January and February 2017.
Cheshire
and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Cheshire East Council and
Cheshire West and Chester Council have teamed-up to commission BMG Research to undertake a
telephone survey with 1,500 randomly selected businesses across the sub-region.
You may be contacted to provide your views.
It
has been designed so that businesses of all sizes across the spectrum of
industries will have an opportunity to present their views and have their voice
heard.
The
aim of the research is to help assess business health, identify opportunities
for growth and investment and to understand any barriers local companies might
be facing. It looks at key business elements like workforce and training
issues; customers and suppliers, business planning, IT infrastructure, support
and regulatory services, environment, and issues specific to the local area.
The
results will help the LEP and local Councils in targeting services and public
sector investment effectively, help them to attract private sector investment
and help local businesses to grow and prosper.
The
current research will build on a similar survey run in 2011 across the region
and will help show how businesses have grown and adapted to changes. It will
help us build on the strengths of local business to help Cheshire businesses
thrive into the future.
BMG
will be calling a random selection of local businesses in January, February and March. If you are contacted, please take the time to give
your views, we value your insights.
