Appleton jewellery designer to exhibit work in New York

A PROMISING young jewellery designer from Appleton has been invited to exhibit her work at a top design museum in New York.

Amy Ridyard, 26, studied at Bridgwater High School and is a qualified woodworker and metalsmith.

She graduated from Staffordshire University just a year and a half ago but now she is flying out to New York after being invited to display her latest collection at the Museum of Art and Design from April 11 until April 16.

Amy is one of 44 international artists exhibiting their work at the LOOT: MAD ABOUT JEWELRY show.
