Date added: 07/11/2016

A trampoline park business is to create 150 jobs at a site close to Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village after securing planning consent for its latest facility.

Melling and Shuttleworth Ltd, owner and operator of Flip Out Stoke in Staffordshire, has been given the go-ahead for a 60,000 sq ft at 1A Chester Gates Business Park. The move is part of a £3m investment.

Matthew Melling, director at Flip Out Stoke and Flip Out Chester, said: "We’ve had amazing feedback since we launched Flip Out in Stone – and we recently unveiled a £250,000 expansion there.

"We’re constantly reinvesting into new facilities in Stone – and now we’re open one of the world’s biggest trampoline parks in Chester."

Once the centre is up and running, Melling and Shuttleworth will employ about 220 staff across its Flip Out trampoline facilities in Stone and Chester.
