If you are looking to expand your skilled workforce
in the then a good way to do this might be to take on a university student or
graduate for a placement. This can be for a three months while they are still
studying, for a year out of their degree, or for as long as you think would be
beneficial after graduating.
SME Graduate Internship
Programme
The SME Intern programme provides local companies
with the opportunity to benefit from offering a three month internship, which
is co-funded by Santander Universities and the University of Chester. The
co-funding enables you to offer a minimum salary of £1000 per month to an
intern, whereby £500 of each month's salary is contributed through the
Santander SME Intern Programme. You will just need to pay the remaining £500
per month towards the intern's salary.
Through the SME Intern programme you can recruit
2nd, 3rd and final year students or graduates of the University of Chester.

Chester Website to
