Businesses on Winsford Industrial Estate celebrated on Friday as the vision to secure a third Business Improvement District (BID) was successful and the hopes for a further 5 years of investment worth over £500,000 became a reality.
Becoming the UK’s longest running non-retail BID in the UK (2006-2021), the third term of the BID will ensure that Winsford Industrial Estate maintains its position as an exceptional environment to work and trade for both employees and businesses alike, and that important projects and services delivered by the BID continue to support companies on the Estate to develop and thrive.
Securing the result with a tremendous 90% of businesses approving the BID, the estate will see a range of investments including enhanced security and CCTV systems; landscape improvements and a range of business support services including a dedicated Estate Manager, regular training programmes and inward investment support.
Chairman of the Business Improvement District Pete Price, Managing Director of Office Essentials, based on the Estate said "It is fantastic that the businesses on Winsford Industrial Estate have placed their faith and commitment in the BID, this is evident by the fantastic vote result achieved on Friday.
